Sam Beveridge is an active father of 12 and 15-year old boys. He participates in their interest of all things outdoors as well as love of playing hockey. Sam is also an avid waterfowl hunter during the colder months of the year and enjoys racing bicycles during the warmer months.
In Sam’s professional life, he’s able to apply many of the small town values he learned while growing up farming and ranching in western Nebraska as the Director of Organic Wheat and Specialty trading with Ardent Mills. Sam’s upbringing plays a very special role in his commitment to conservation and parenting.
Tragedy struck Sam in early February as his right leg below the knee was amputated as a result of a shotgun wound sustained during a routine hunting trip. If individuals without proper medical training weren’t on site, Sam would most likely have lost his life.
Birds & Bucks is doing what we can to help Sam and his family during this difficult time. As he will be out of week for a considerable time, we’re donating a 3-day, fully guided Nebraska turkey hunt that can be redeemed during the 2022 or 2023 season. Included in this package is lodging for 3-nights and 1-turkey. Value of this hunt is $1990
Bidding will start at $500. Please use the comments section below to place your bid. The auction will conclude Wed Feb 23rd at 7pm. Please do what you can to help Sam and his family.
